I’d like to see a talk from the team who prompted MFA codes of 6 digits becoming the industry standard (because it’s basically the top limit for a number we can remember easily). I get the *why*, but I wonder how much research and discussion that took. Does that exist somewhere?

I always assumed it was tied to the six character minimum password length of that era.
