Ps technically it’s not ide... it’s way older than ide by many years

Thanks for the offer—path of least resistance was to order a $25 adapter from Amazon. Curious about your “older than IDE” comment—any recommended reading on this?

I randomly discovered a 5.25 floppy on my shelf last week. I have no idea what’s on it... and I haven’t had a 5.25 floppy drive since 1996. I can’t throw it away.
