Sounds fun and would love to do sometime - but getting back from month long travel just before that.

I think the first question has to be where to leave from. NOLA is probably a really good option, Atlantic is cold so Baltimore is out. There is a 7 day Bahamas cruise secure.royalcaribbean.com/cr… but I like the idea of something shorter, which means RC from NOLA is out

There are plenty if 3 and 4 night ones out of Florida. I think the shorter ones make more sense for this...

Carnival is shittier, but cheap and has 4 day options out of NOLA (day at sea, day in some touristy island, day at sea). Just need a place to sit and drink anyway. They also have child care for the young ones. I'd prefer RC, but I don't think their child care starts until 3.
