The kids did that to @JBeanDesign's Macbook. Turned out it was a rogue Chrome extension they clicked "OK" for. Check add-ons.

Following up last tweet, dog is fine. She chewed the heck out of the remote, but didn't swallow any AFAICT.

Dog ate remote. @brighthousenow gave a free replacement plus a free spare, "In case she does it again." Small gesture, big customer loyalty.
