Screw battery life. Somebody build a laptop with multiple CPU sockets, 1920x1080 display, and 32GB+ of RAM, USB3, < 5lbs. I'd buy it.

Argh. Ubuntu, when I install the SSH daemon package, why do you not set up the boot script to start it automatically?

@Forensication Did you try reading the ribbon? I've actually seen some typewriters where previous typing was visible. That's old school.

@KDPryor @Forensication XFCE seems to be the new window mgr of choice. Like Ken, I'm sticking with the old LTS for now.
@elpie Vancouver in Nov is frequently rainy and overcast, temps in the single digits (Celsius). Still a beautiful city.
AT&T data service in the Denver airport is shameful. How hard is it to provision adequate capacity?

@benrothke I can set a password but the PIN still works. That's broken.
@benrothke UAL uses 4-digit PINs for web site auth. No way to turn it off that I can see. Can trivially enumerate all possible combos.
