@chrisdancy Nope. That's part of why everybody is locked into their current program. It's just too painful to switch and have zero status.
@benrothke My thought is you don't get to xfer the miles, just keep your status when you move over.
@benrothke But just think how disruptive the idea could be. We'd certainly get a true "market" vote on the best frequent flyer program.

Airline idea: accept frequent fliers from other plans for 1yr w/ current status. Hate @United but reluctant to spend a year building status.
