@ericjhuber Makes miles upgrades useless to me because I don't want to take the risk of doing long flights in coach.
@ericjhuber United refuses to confirm upgrades made with miles until the last possible moment, holding seats open indefinitely for revenue.

@CdtDelta Airline miles are pretty much useless these days because of blackouts and other restrictions. I'm hoarding hotel points instead.
