There seem to be a couple twitter bots monitoring the keyword "Bali" and just blindly retweeting. I see potential for mayhem there...
Whew! 64 hours of travel (door-to-door) from home to my hotel in Bali, thanks to an unexpected overnight stay in Bangkok.

@ericjhuber For a 17+ hour flight? You're darn tootin' I went business class...
The airline is paying for my hotel and meals, and was helpful when I got to BKK. Making the best of an unfortunate situtation.
For those of you following along at home, my flight was 4hrs late into BKK, so I missed my connection. Overnight at BKK, leave tomorrow.
One night in Bangkok? The world is not my oyster. Oh well, I gave myself an extra day to get into position-- may need it.
Well this is going pear-shaped. LAX->BKK flight delayed a couple of hours. Coincidentally, this is the duration of my original layover...
Getting ready to start the third and longest leg of my travels. 17+ hours from LAX->BKK...
@DouglasBrush Personally, I prefer to think of it as "steerage"
