Using the TV in my hotel room as a monitor for my laptop sucks a lot less than I feared it would. Glad I brought my own VGA cable after all.

Opted out of full body scanners at IAD. Had a pleasant conversation with TSA agent during pat-down. Remember, these folks are people too.
