@competentgirl Mind you, I'm irked at the Linux folks for ignoring previous file system standards-- /lib and /bin belong in /usr!
@competentgirl I grew up with SunOS 3.x and 4.x and still use *BSD, but personally I found Solaris->Linux quite a smooth transition
@competentgirl Also boot control, package/patch management, etc are completely different...
@competentgirl Sure, but most Solaris folks at this point are not using the BSD compat stuff and *BSD doesn't have "SVR4 compatibility"
