@davehull On balance, yes it's a good thing. I know I would never be happy as a salaried employee again. But the uncertainty is not for all.
@timmedin Looks like that will be changing, however, at least in the short term (writing this from SLC airport :-)
@timmedin Can't complain really-- I doubt I've spent more than 1 week in 10 on the road for business travel in the last few years.
I'm feeling the "won't" right now as I'm doing a return to the customer site about 12 hours after returning home...
Who said that consultants live half their lives like most people won't, so that they can live the other half like most people can't?

@LeahRosin Not sure. Obviously, there were women on the plane and the flight attendant was female. I changed seats before takeoff though.
The guy sitting next to me on the plane was checking out a Playboy during the flight. Got to say that's a first for me...
