@laprice Vendor needs should never be a factor when you're designing your own IT architecture. Agree about the IT Hero complex, though.

@mmurray The one that worries me is the lack of "large site" admin experience-- how do you run a network of thousands of these beasts?
@laprice What disincentives are you thinking about here? I like to set up something once and forget about it because it's rock-solid...
