Given the limitations of the platform, TouchTerm is a very good SSH app for the iPhone-- and there's now a free version available.
Heading out on Thanksgiving trip back East, not taking laptop-- experiment to see if iPhone is sufficient for short trips like this.
Finally got VPN connectivity working from my iPhone. The solution? Stop trying to use OpenBSD and switch to Linux for the VPN server.
@hdmoore Why kubuntu? I'm just using Gnome/Metacity on plain old 8.10 and it's fine...
@strata I've been cruising around town with Pandora radio playing off my iPhone-- drains the battery something fierce, but super cool.
