OpenAI for learning a new language:
Another 🤯moment using GPT-3. Created a bot for people learning a new language that: - Chats with you in your language of choice. - Corrects you when you make a grammar (and even style) mistake. Even works well with 🇪🇸/🇫🇷 (and I'm sure many more). cc @gdb

A thoughtful essay on the implications of GPT-3:

GPT-3 is a paradigm shift. It may not handle certain logical tasks as well as it does certain conversational tasks. But it is a step in the right direction. From what I can tell, it at least resembles a person's ability to think creatively. perceptions.space/gpt-3-and-…

Currently playing with #GPT-3 to generate libretti, scenes for opera, new instruments, new genres, new ideas... This is pretty wild. Looking forward to sharing

After 10 days of working with #GPT3, a few line items below that'd have taken years without it. 1. Finding the right audience with NLP for any intent. 2. Writing personalized email snippets. cc: @gdb 🙏 Watch the demo and request access: forms.gle/B1Z4Sb1m54xtDxrZ6. @lpolovets

Back in college I wrote a short screenplay for an Iliad x West Side Story mashup. I took excerpts of it and fed it to GPT-3 to see what the model would generate next, and the results were impressive. Although it does mix up some plot points, the dialogue is good in general.

Experimenting with @OpenAI #GPT3 and got it to extract financial metrics by simply copying and pasting the Income Statement from quarterly press release, and requesting a metric which doesn't even need to be an exact match 😲 cc @gdb

Text to presentation:

Letting GPT-3 do my presentations from now on. Just copy a bunch of text and let GPT-3 generate the presentation. Using Google slides scripting. I am not good at presentation skills. This is for proof of concept. So be gentle :). cc @gdb

Mind-blowing. In less than 10 mins, created a calorie-counting app API that to support voice interfaces (e.g. Apple Watch) -- and it works better and is easier to use than My Fitness Pal. #gpt3

I managed to develop a GPT-3 demo that produces generative code snippets of the #threejs JavaScript API by textually describing the elements and their parameters needed to create a #webgl 3D scene.
