GPS maps made getting lost largely obsolete. Search engines made recall of specific facts far less important. Very curious what new capabilities AI systems will give us that we will soon take for granted.

Dalle2s (and whatever else like it) effect on art actually could be crazy. Like, a completely talentless person can now generate art to absolutely shocking detail. Seems like a qualitative shift.

I’m just waiting for my house to really start working for me. Tell me my schedule while I’m showering, turn an off lights and appliances fluidly instead of through widgets… actions like that. Jetsons style!
