Realized today one major difference between in-person and virtual meetings: laughter. IRL, I’ll often make jokes, but over two years of video calls I can barely recall a single funny moment. Surprised how easy it was to forget an entire dimension of interaction, and not notice.

We still have jokes, generally, but it's definitely harder to plug a quick funny comment in a zoom meeting (compared to in-person meetings).

Its probably the environment. WFH makes you serious I guess as you want to get back to your 'home' while being at home.

All the funny jokes are told while muted.

I attended a very critical virtual interview-meeting on Zoom about my education and career life yesterday: I was really so excited, I gave interesting answers: I laugh now when I remember those moments, I think they laughed too! 😅🙈🍀💫

All our morning meetings are filled with laughter. Don’t give it up.
