One of my biggest growth moments as a programmer was realizing that libraries I use are just code, and I could read them directly rather than puzzling it out from the docs. Even today, I am surprised how much faster I move every time I start reading a layer I'm building on.

I Recently found out that a library I use are just scraping functions... would it pay to read the code than sit for a documentation in mist cases ? People should try this more

I read code first now before I look at docs. I've actually come to believe that docs are useless if your audience is capable devs. Unless those docs are describing PROCESSES that are hard to see because of how the system is architected.

thats why i try to avoid 99% of all libs, its faster for me to code all from scratch, to read all lib code or docs 😅
