Surprising commonality between AI & startups: newcomers tend to believe that ideas are the hard part and execution is commoditized. In reality, many (not all!) great ideas are already in the air, and proving their value requires a rare caliber of execution.

i think that's the x-factor of sir @elonmusk. Yes he's a smart & creative guy, but unlike many other smart creative ppl w/ cool ideas he's been able to actually follow-through, execute and actualize many of these ideas into viable Things (companies, technology, products..) irl.

I humbly beg to differ that is inherently human. We are surrounded by finished commodities, services, and products. Our bias is not only shipped but owns a market segment. For first-timers that is a shock indeed. In one of my speeches, I offer the room 12 $1B ideas. For 0.5% PS.

Agree with you @gdb but sometimes great ideas are backstopped just bcoz of Finacial Issues, & the Public calls that's a bad idea. #RamizMalek #TrendMe

Ideas are easy. Execution is hard.
