Surprising commonality between AI & startups: newcomers tend to believe that ideas are the hard part and execution is commoditized. In reality, many (not all!) great ideas are already in the air, and proving their value requires a rare caliber of execution.

Ideas in AI must be implemented, otherwise they do not differ from a fantastic story. You put forward an idea, be able to implement it.

Good ideas are a dime a dozen. Get me together with my entrepreneur buddies, and we come up 10 really good ideas over a lunch. Execution is the true differentiator.
