When will API be available to the general public ? It was supposed to be in October but I have a feeling you've changed the published date.

We launched pricing at the beginning of the month, but remain in private beta — still have a lot to build, learn, and figure out in terms of how to responsibly scale our technology. If you ping me (gdb@openai.com) with your use-case, I may be able to accelerate an invite.

I'm looking forward to one day building something cool with the @OpenAI API. 😎

Very cool. At @scielco we are excited to use the API once we have access!

Looking forward to get my hands on this API, it will help a lot my side project, I'm building an issue tracking tool focused on the end user (customer) and it will have a great use to decide the priorities, if it is a legitimate bug or not and even suggesting where to look for it

Similar to this: Would be interesting to take a Jira project at a company and use a technique like this to impute an "estimate" where one isn't explicitly given.
