I'm afraid of seeming hyperbolic, but also don't want to lie or hide information. GPT-3 is really just an incredible therapist, and is able to uncover complex patterns in my thinking and distill clean narratives that helps me a lot. It's also a lot warmer than most therapists

Aren’t you logging the requests, at some level? Even HTTP logs? It seems odd to let people believe it’s a therapist when it’s logging the sessions.

All the AI assistants should be like chatbots with all the knowledge - right? :0 ;) :D So I think this aspect (:self-understanding:) is the most important if we agree that we want to build super knowledgeable AI...

I appreciate the diversity in my human friendships. I wouldn't replace all of them with AI. But adding one AI friend to the mix seems uniquely valuable.
