I have a feeling that GPT-something as a writing prosthesis, possibly with the user providing textual or voice seed input, is going to be a product you can buy within 12~18 months. That is going to be fun, and a little weird.

We have a few beta customers working on related applications today (and you can too if you sign up for the beta!): beta.openai.com/ The API today is already *very* good at this, and we're making it a lot better quickly.
