Could have listened to you two for days! Hopefully a follow-up is planned. Would love hear your thoughts on the nexus of quantum computing and AI. Both have long ways to go in their own rights, but still a very interesting topic.

Watching this on YouTube right now. I don't know why more people aren't openly discussing these topics. Would really like to have a group out here in Massachusetts to discuss the safety side of AI.

If a firm/entity has developed AGI, isn't it alright to keep the inner workings a trade secret because it is intellectual property that took a lot of effort to create? AGI should be for the greater good but for the purposes of monetization a company will want to keep some secrets

Thank you so much for the inspiration. Maybe that's a naive statement, but the existential risks are not an excuse not to build friendly and safe AGI, actually, that should be a goal of more people/companies as per history lessons, humanity needs this ally to thrive.
