Interesting to think about how dictionaries today aren’t much changed from the physical books — you need to sift through possible definitions to find the right one.
A browser extension which gives you the right definition of a word, based on context:
Introducing Revtheo Browser Extension! Check it out in comparison with Apple's "word lookup feature".
Revtheo, a context based dictionary, wouldn't have been possible without #GPT3@gdb

Letters from Nature: Climate change is killing our planet, but nature's ice caps, islands and coral reefs did not have a voice. Until we asked #AI (#GPT3) to write letters to world leaders on her behalf. Poetic collab with Jeroen van der Most @Artist_Mostjeroenvandermost.com/letters…
Here are my initial results of integrating #GPT3 with Vector the robot this weekend.
I don't have text to speech working yet, so I have to type my side of the conversation. Feels like there's a lot of fun potential here.
We have a *very* long waitlist — see nitter.vloup.ch/gdb/status/12864….
Team working super hard to serve as many folks as we can safely, but it will take time to get to everyone!
We’ve received tens of thousands of applications for access to GPT-3 via our API. We want to serve everyone who wrote in, but it's going to take time for us to ramp up safely.
(One way to help us move faster is to pick up a shovel: openai.com/jobs/)
While at @stripe, @gdb coined @gdb's law. "An apparently innocuous bug discovered but left unfixed will soon cause a significant problem." Often think about it. Unsettlingly true.
Tagline generation is the #1 use case for GPT-3, so @chris__lu and I built a tool to help you generate great taglines in seconds.
Introducing taglines.ai.

New: My adventures using GPT-3 to make Copycat analogies. I did some systematic experiments with no cherry picking. I hope you enjoy this!

Another 🤯moment using GPT-3.
Created a bot for people learning a new language that:
- Chats with you in your language of choice.
- Corrects you when you make a grammar (and even style) mistake.
Even works well with 🇪🇸/🇫🇷 (and I'm sure many more).

GPT-3 is a paradigm shift.
It may not handle certain logical tasks as well as it does certain conversational tasks.
But it is a step in the right direction.
From what I can tell, it at least resembles a person's ability to think creatively.

Great way to interact with users across a wide-variety of applications, and help people get the best out of applying GPT-3 to their businesses.
A few months ago I jokingly said to a friend “we should create an AI that can write fiction for @ShortlyRead”
I knew the tech was coming but I didn’t expect it to be this good. @OpenAI@gdb
Here’s GPT-3 as a creative writing assistant. Play with v1 now shortlyread.com/app
Letting GPT-3 do my presentations from now on. Just copy a bunch of text and let GPT-3 generate the presentation. Using Google slides scripting. I am not good at presentation skills. This is for proof of concept. So be gentle :).
