Great find by @Enchufa2 of a decade-old (!!) post describing the very hard problem he and e.g. @marutterstat have done the most to improve considerably. And his `bspm` package (and Copr work) is a big leap ahead (cf my blog for details).

It's real. It includes international travel (with laptop to commit to, and push to remote later), some 1 1/2 day relay races, one four-hour hospital admission (long story...) and what not. But no cron jobs besides the CRAN Repo Policy bot.
