Thank you @bgreenwell8 -- but credit where credit is due!
This is co-written with @ilustat as a variation on his earlier 'gsir' and best seen side-by-side as comparison.
Choice of tools is a very good thing, never-ending debates notwithstanding.

You may have been thinking of the 'curlies versus parens versus ...' example computing 1/x different ways which I used a few times in Rcpp tutorials.
It goes back, if memory serves, to Christian Robert.
I can dig up a reference if someone truly cares.
Sisyphus peered into the mist
A stone's throw from the precipice, paused
Did he jump or did he fall as he gazed into the maw of the morning mist?
Did he raise both fists and say, "To hell with this" and just let the rock roll?

Website is a "side-effect", I consume the info I generate via subscriptions to the RSS feed and to @CRANberriesFeed tweets.
ChangeLog and NEWS pointers would have been provided from day if we had canonical locations for them. But we don't.

Congrats on another @QuantLib release!
And as we usually do, package and shipped to @Debian as a source package---and this time also sent to my @Ubuntu PPA for a 20.04 "focal" build.

Ensure you run a recent @RStudio, I have 1.4.615.
Use
Tools -> Global Options -> Pane Layout, or
View -> Panes -> Pane Layout
then 'Add Columns'.
This screenshot is from @Ubuntu 20.04 on a ~ 5 year MacBook Air I "inherited" so it's "just" 1440 pixel.

And when I write 1.4.165 I mean 1.4.615.
Interestingly, works the same in @RStudio Server here seen in Chrome on my same machine.
Now, the question we all have is: How many source panes will @robjhyndman span over his two *much* fancier and higher-res monitors?
#rstats
Running @RStudio 'nightlies' build 1.4.165:
- two added source columns on the left monitor
- leaving the usual four panes on the right monitor
- fairly "manual" scaling to two screens.

You are welcome! Thanks have to be extended to my co-conspirator @knapply_ who is putting the awesome into awesome code and _of course_ @lemire and team for the wonders that is #simdjson.
New release "real soon now". Maybe in a few days.

Excellent -- thanks *so much* for all the help in setting it up, promoting it beforehand and now, and running the show. I really enjoyed it, and hope folks will find it useful.
#rcpp#rstats
I have decided to give back to my #Rstats community.
All packages uses snake_case notation and two-space indents will be repaired with doubled spaces and proper camelCase. I am only doing a maximum of 50 packages.

Enjoy!
May not convince people with strong opinions weakly held but the brief video demos installing tidyverse (big as we all know) via a single command resolving all dependendies---using two different methods.
