The hero we have, not the hero we deserve. @marutterstat is up to over 2000 binary CRAN packages for @Ubuntu 20.04 aka "focal"; growing steadily. Plus @Ubuntu 18.04 aka "bionic " stands at 4400. All for your #rstats R 4.0.0 goodness. More at cloud.r-project.org/bin/linu….

The future of data science is serverless and revolves around multi-dimensional arrays. Check out why we built TileDB youtube.com/Qo1O3cLwUhU

Thanks so much! And if I may, we PR this image upstream each time so you can just do $ docker run --rm -it r-base which is just so much shorter, prettier, and enjoyable 😉 (Doesn't hold for the other Rocker containers though.) #rstats #RockerProject
🐳The rocker/r-base image now has R 4.0.0 Rocker project's base R Docker image was recently updated to R4.0.0. Great news for all who need to test their #rstats applications in a containerized way 💲docker run --rm -it rocker/r-base Thanks @eddelbuettel et al. for all the work

Consider it done. But I named it just `safy` to play it a little safer because, you know, of all the kittens. And assign a marginally calmer text. Little demo below. Should be on GitHub as `safy` once I get a nice little README.md in. #rstats

The official 'r-base' for @Docker is now at R 4.0.0. As the underlying package awaits a 'transition' into @Debian proper (along with rebuilds of all reverse depends), one cannot yet install prebuilt r-cran-* packages (from R 3.*) so install from source. #RockerProject #rstats

Replying to @vijayiyer
That was most excellent. Thanks you so much for sharing your house with us, and offering a live concert. [ I thought it was weird that you went all @milesdavis on us not talking or announcing a single title. Then again, no band to introduce 😉 ]
