In a sane world, the government would deliver a small 📦 to every person in America. Each month: face masks, gloves, a pre-paid debit card, testing kits, information about how to vote by mail. All delivered by USPS.

Good tweet to keep around for students. Picking dependencies matters. Sometimes change is unavoidable, but selection of tools is part of good design. Eg @CRANberriesFeed runs (by now hourly) for close to thirteen years, and I never have to touch the (base R + RSQLite) code.

Thanks to the @metoffice @informatics_lab for their fantastic collaboration in their evaluation of TileDB for cloud-ready geoscience data. Check out @_DPeterK_'s blog here tinyurl.com/rxrkew6. Handling 1000s of NetCDF files into a single logical array was no small feat.
