#rstats help. Any guidance on how to treat EOF problems on windows? CR or CRFL is not welcome by win. I need to fix this in order to ship a package to CRAN =(

From first principles:
- treat the symptom: run a filter like `dos2unix` on ther files before you create the .tar.gz
- treat the cause: if (say) your code is in `git` learn about the line end settings as git can maps it for you
