Anyone have tips for searching among all your scripts for a specific string (e.g. a CSV file name)? From CL, I use `grep -lr filename.csv`, but it's pretty slow. Maybe file explorer has more advanced search options I haven't looked into? (I use mac and windows) #rstats

Yes! I have spoken in high praise about `ag` aka The SilverSearcher before. Extremely fast, and clever (i.e. knows to skip `.git` dir backup files etc). Excellent interface from my editor too. `ripgrep` is an alternative. github.com/ggreer/the_silver…
