There's a package tarball in the CRAN newbie queue that is 888 bytes large. Impressive! It clearly passed the incoming tests. Now I'm really curious (i) what it'll provide, and (ii) how small can a tarball be while still passing R CMD check --as-cran #RStats

We will be getting into the meaning of "meaningful" here soon but I take those 888 bytes and counter with 488. No ERROR, WARNING, or NOTE with `R CMD check --as-cran` (using `rcmdcheck::rcmdcheck` via a convenience wrapper from `littler`):

Can you squeeze out a few more bytes by using a two-letter pkg name and version 1.0? I guess it's also okay to re-gzip with gzip -9
