Or (on suitable systems) install binaries and don't compile at all: with `bspm` it works with `install.packages()` _and still gets you binaries_. See my r2u for Ubuntu, @enchufa2's cran2copr for Fedora, @detlef_steuer's for OpenSUSE ... #RStats eddelbuettel.github.io/r2u/
