I have a course where students use R. So far, I've been having them install it on their personal computers. It's worked better than I expected, but I'm thinking of moving to RStudio Cloud. Would love to hear experiences from people using RStudio Cloud in higher ed. #rstats

Used it for 4 terms of STAT 447 Data Science Programming Methods at Illinois in campus-wide pilot. Good (no setup, everybody has access, generally works well) and bad (new projects needs new git setup, git integration clunky, single point of failure, fees) sides but overall good.

This is a networks class that mostly uses R for visualization + basic data cleaning, etc. I'm thinking that the computational needs will be pretty modest and students might get by just using the free account. Is that optimistic?
