Hi everybody, I am trying to parallelize an analysis, turns out my parallel efforts are taking a substantial time when compared with my serial process. Can anybody point me towards a nice resource like" parallel computing for dummies"? #parallelcomputing

The vignette of package `parallel` (which comes with R) is underappreciated and a really solid intro: `browseVignettes("parallel")`.
