#Rstats I'm working on RStudio Server open source which limits you to a single session, but I really need to bounce between sessions. Does anyone have any alternative IDEs that recreate the RStudio experience well? Even open to a good tutorial on how to use vim+R together

A few of us put this together last year:

Emacs is not for everyone, but it served me well for 25+ years with; ESS is amazing, I often keep many sessions persistently (daemon mode !) for weeks at a time. And then you have Magit and other goodies.
