Us old hands used to joke that "one can write Fortran in any language". I am belatedly realizing that some folks are writing Excel in any^Hmy fave language #RStats 馃く

lemme tell you what, I don't want to do this. But it's become a necessity. I avoided it because I thought that openxlsx::writeFormula() only let you do classic formulas, but I've learned how to write excel dataTable formulas and it's a game changer.
