Hey #rstats + container folks, any tips or examples installing packages from binary on Linux?
I'm making a Singularity container. Source installs are slow + I hear binary is faster.
I tried install2.r, but it fails to install some packages in R 4.0.2, like {{parallelly}}.

That is an underspecifiied request: which distro and release?
Say you use the PPA by Michael then ... you _may_ hit the fact that ~ 5k r-cran-* packages is less than 17k at CRAN. So some will be missing.
More pointers here, and I recommend bspm:
This use case of _effortlessly_ getting #Rstats package binaries onto @Ubuntu has been covered in a few blog posts (and videos).
