I've been invited to give a live / remote 45 minute talk on general terminal usage (comparing shells, useful command line tools, setting up a prompt, working with tmux, etc.).
What's a topic that you would like to see covered? I'm thinking about making it a 99% live demo

- general intro/buffers
- one consistent editor for R,sh,sql,C(++),Py, ...
- emacs --daemon; emacsclient: ideal for byobu!
- ESS for R and md
- magit (reason alone to switch)
- tramp for remote editing over ssh
