One option: use Docker image r-base (same as rocker/r-base) It uses @Debian testing which has gcc 10 now. So apt-get update apt-get install gcc-10 g++-10 gfortran-10 then adjust your package. "We all" need to work on replicatin CRAN's setup better. #rstats #rockerproject

Agree with "we all" (& was going to suggest checking Docker/rocker) but it would also help if this was documented somewhere or Docker imgs/other containers provided for the various CRAN & BDR set-ups we'd all benefit. At the moment it's often an obscure one-way street #rstats

Thanks, hopefully this will work (i.e. segfault). I fear I might actually need 10.0.1 as this didn't segfault during the first pass of gcc-10 tests.
