Sure. Standard CRAN magic. Points that help - no prior NOTE, WARNING or ERROR -- but OK everywhere - no rev. deps so no check for 'change to worse' needed - no compiled code hence no rchk/(ub)san issues and drake hits all points -- but it is less easy for widely-used packages
In his #chirunconf wrap-up presentation, @wmlandau submitted an update of the #rstats package drake to CRAN. Live. And it鈥檚 been accepted.

And don't get me started on the worse-than-dire situation concerning the OS from Cupertino and the utter absence of any semi-sane support for external libraries. If you have libraries needed there (and I do) you are in a, err, "less pleasant" situation.

I deal almost exclusively with the OS from Redmond, which can be painful, but not like your issues. Yoinks.
