QuantLib 1 1 was released earlier today, and updated quantlib, quantlib-swig and quantlib-refman-html packages are now in Debian unstable.

@neuwirthe Hm, that would do it. But do talk to them -- JJ and Joe are good guys and splendid engineers. Maybe RExcel can be accomodated.
Replying to @crampell
@crampell The quote is from a Jean-Louis Kahn, a commentator, no relation as far as I know, and not by Dominique Strauss-Kahn himself.

@neuwirthe @RforFinance There should be no additional Java dependency coming from RStudio. RStudio is a C++ application.
The 'obviouslymyfault' always succeeds ♻ @ananelson: just run /usr/bin/idontknowwhatididbutitsobviouslymyfaultandimsorrywhydonticooktonight
Try 'grep angry /proc/wife/*' instead ♻ @cmastication: `cat /var/log/* | grep angry` does not work on one's wife.
In German too ♻ @colmtobin: For all of you asking - "Yes We Can" in Gaelic is "Fuck it, do we have to?" (ht: @ananelson)

Chambers' "Software for Data Analysis" MT @ChrisDiehl: what are the best books on R, for CS folks, ok on math + stats but not statisticians
I can recommend an interface between R and C++ :) MT @gappy3000 @cmastication [...] most complementary languages to R are C and C++.
Replying to @HarlanH
@HarlanH A list is a vector too :) Try is.vector(list('abc',1,NA), mode="numeric") instead.

@cmastication I only care aboout package sources, you probably mirror much, much more. Was that your intent? Why windows binaries on S3?
Replying to @CMastication
@cmastication You may be doing it wrong. CRANberries accumulates sources packages hence many versions of some pkgs -- but only 7gb total.
