The official 'r-base' for @Docker is now at R 4.0.0.
As the underlying package awaits a 'transition' into @Debian proper (along with rebuilds of all reverse depends), one cannot yet install prebuilt r-cran-* packages (from R 3.*) so install from source.
#RockerProject#rstats
And the rocker/r-base:4.0.0 image (based on @Debian testing plus experimental plus a small PPA of mine with R 4.0.0 compatible packages for r-recommended) is now live.
#rstats#rocker
New #Rcpp record: Used by every other compiled CRAN #Rstats package.
I.e. we now have 50% coverage among packages using compiled code. And a little under 1/8th of all CRAN packages.
[Note: So far didn't exclude dupes which CRAN has e.g. pre-release, will fix going forward.]
#Rcpp just hit 1000 citations per @google scholar -- thanks so much to everybody who relies on #Rcpp to integrate #Rstats and #Cpp, and of course especially to those who contribute code, documentation, testing or suggestions.
