Management is definitely a kind of leadership; but it's not the only leadership a technical team needs, and it's not what most technical people think of leadership. A good manager is also a bit of a coach/mentor in some aspects, but they're rarely the team/tech lead itself.

Probably :D With @sinkingpoint's reduced wordlist my solver gets today's in 3, with my current expanded wordlist it takes 4. For comparison I took 5 because I'm crap :D
Interestingly, my program which attempts to select the word which will maximise eliminations from the remaining set always picks `aster` as the first guess.
It's fixed only in the sense that the algorithm it uses to decide on its next guess is stable and so will always choose the same word to start with given its input dictionary. If I were to trim the dictionary to match whatever wordle actually use, I imagine it might change.
