Thanks to everyone who helped us, particularly the FreeBSD testers.
Rustup 1.24.3 is here! This patch release focusses around resolving some regressions in behavior in the 1.24.x series, in either low tier platforms, or unusual situations around very old toolchains. blog.rust-lang.org/2021/06/0โ€ฆ

Yep. Unit tests are inherently part of their crate, not independent tests. :/

that big long thing is the name of the *test case* not the test itself. It's awkward naming but --test is more about *files* in tests/*.rs.

Oh indeed. On a hillside, particularly if you're lost (and therefore standing still as you should be) GPS will be far far more useful. w3w is madness, perhaps it infects the minds of those who like it?

while I don't agree with his slavish adoration of w3w most in built satnav systems do rely heavily on inertial guidance, though typically only in cities with tall buildings which reduce GPS precision.

Normally Codethink people are called Codethings, but apparently some of our clients have taken to calling us "IT Warriors"

Yeah, or to note things like "There's a jungle to the northwest" etc. If I am not building paths and putting signposts down :D

If I'm focussed on something visual like a game, it's harder to let the in-mind lists take over. But I do use them somewhat yes.

I like games which let you keep an in-game journal, writing notes on things. In Minecraft I do this with book-and-quill items for example :D Maps only work while I can see 'em :D

We tend to avoid words like 'best effort' because it's arguable that you didn't put your best effort in :(

The great thing about such a clause is that in many jurisdictions it fails the "Unconscionability" test and as such will be unenforceable. The sad thing about it is that's not the case everywhere :(
