As a brit who was recently in canada, I appreciated being able to make my hotel room frosty.
Then again, I sleep with earplugs in because otherwise I snore myself awake :D
You're absolutely right. It's also good practice as a speaker to repeat the question before answering it, since that helps (a) give time to frame the response and (b) a chance for the questioner to refine it if the speaker misunderstands.
IOW, 100% agree++
This Ferris was a gift from my Rust learners group here @codethink -- A really nice and unexpected gesture from @chris_polin @jeeeunevans et al. Thanks everyone.
So far, pie on my oneplus has been a bit of a faff. Things appear to have changed for no good reason (e.g. swapping the clock to the left of the status bar, dismissing things from the app switcher is now swipe up rather than sideways). I hope it has benefits too.
Specific shoutouts go to @j2h@bcardiff and @grhmc for being super-interesting to talk with, and super-helpful. Also to @popey for looking after me so well, and being a fellow lover of cats.
There are so many more of you I should call out, but I lack twitter handles for you all
Had an excellent time this week hosted by canonical at #snapcraftio this week. Met some excellent humans (our robots, not sure yet) and had very productive time and talks with @travisci and others.
I'd say no to that because having to replace all my USB cables for my embedded boards would be a pig. I agree that fewer than five or six ports is just plain evil though. My laptop only has three so you're ahead of the game there.
