Also I cycle to the park, so I use that as my warmup, but I do some stretches before the race too. Nothing terribly secret :D

Dunno, I mean, I run my 5k in the morning, I don't eat breakfast, I have a pint of squash an hour before the race. I pick someone to follow, and then if I think I can, I try and pick someone in front of them after a while, etc.
