Also I like the idea of using SOURCE_DATE_EPOCH for the situation of "not in git" -- I haven't considered that case at all yet.

I think the main thing I should do is add some nice methods to the main struct to give you common information from the commit info enum rather than all users having to write the same matches.

oooh yes, I should see if there're features in `rbtag` which I'd like in `git_testament` -- choice is a good thing :D
Wow, since I released rustup 1.18.0 I've actually had people look at and try crates.io/crates/git-testame… which I really wasn't expecting. Here's hoping I get some good feature requests and/or bug reports :D (#unexpected @rustlang community engagement FTW)

But where does "backend" start and/or finish? Also "frontend" ? Does that include browser developers? it's such an awful term.

We often hear the words "Full Stack" bandied around when referring to a developer's skills. But what does it really mean to you? For me, "Full Stack" says someone's capable of working from the schematics of a computer, through to something like a web-UI, and everything between.

I'm very pleased to report that Rustup (the @rustlang toolchain manager) version 1.18.0 has been released. Various tweaks and bug fixes there, plus a nice speedup in installation on Windows. Thank you to everyone involved in the release. Changelog here: github.com/rust-lang/rustup.…

Preparing a new release of rustup is still a bit scary. Here's hoping the @rustlang community will be as forgiving if I fluff it a second time :D

TFW you have run out of awake, but still have lots of testing left to do. Aah well rustup will have to wait for the morning. Zzz o'clock
Hey @monzo - Is it possible to "unsplit" part of a bill? I split something but have decided to "forgive" the debt for one of the splittees. Failing that, can I get it to be hidden from the "Shared" part of the payments tab?

It's always nice when one's employer supports local community ventures.
Thank you to @codethink for their contribution towards our building renovation costs. This support will be valuable in building our new home

If you make sure you to pack your goop tightly when filling your jars, fermentation gas becomes very obvious since you can see bubbles, even down low, through the glass.
I recommend starting it by leaving the containers in the sink, because otherwise there's a risk of splosion everywhere :D

I start kimchi by leaving it out of the fridge, and crack it once a day yes. Once it's fermenting, I just leave it in the fridge and don't worry about cracking it every now and again beyond opening it to get kimchi to eat :D The fridge is kept around 6 degC.

I use click-lock boxes, and I have a separate kimchi fridge which is kept a little less cold than my main fridge
