Each day I refresh the #adventofcode website and each day I'm sad it hasn't ticked over to 2020 yet :( @ericwastl is there a known timeline for when I'll be able to AoC++ myself for this year?

My friend Kian is being very mild in his call here. I'd say neck, not thigh.

When we redid our bathroom a couple of years back, we deliberately went with a tap which can be manipulated fully with hands whose fingers will not move out of a fist.

On this International pronouns Day, remember: Adding your pronouns to your bio does no harm, and immensely pisses off the exact type of person you should want to piss off

Holly crap. Thanks Tom!
Pretty extraordinary - Tom Lehrer, aged 92, has decided to put all his lyrics and sheet music into the public domain, before he passes away. tomlehrersongs.com

Providing the FDs etc are all preserved, presumably yes. Though libfuse may or may not have something to say about that.

If you're interested in helping, then a good place to start would be github.com/rust-lang/rustup/… You can come talk to us on our discord too - discord.gg/rust-lang we're in the rustup working group channel.
Since I'm finally over my enormous github notifications backlog, I've enabled the @hacktoberfest topic on the rustup repository - github.com/rust-lang/rustup - Here's hoping that if anyone wants hacktoberfest kudos, they treat us well and don't file single typo-fix PRs. cc @rustlang

As someone who has spent a lot of time dealing with the horrors inflicted on the world because of C, how about instead you spend time improving Rust's optimisers so that it's as good/better than C?
Save the planet, code in C.

I have killed the web browser which you were trying to push on a developer of a competing browser using your monopoly control of the OS install which is licensed to their employer Seriously, you've got some brass balls and I have the Task Manager

Why can't you have _host.example.com as an A record label? (It'll be slightly confusing since it'll be _host.example.com.yourdomain.name when fully resolved, but if that was your intent...)

What are you trying to achieve? If it's TTLs then typically the format is: name TTL RRTYPE VALUE _host 300 A 1.1.1.1 _alias 300 CNAME _host
