I'm very glad to hear they did do updates. I am terrified of things in charge of that much current which might be security-hackable (though I understand the protections in ISO15118 which the cars have)

My big struggle is that I 'bring forward' (10am) or 'move back' (2pm) a meeting. So I was very confused when Greg said 'Move forward' :D

My rule is "if it's not data, it's not data" -- i.e. I don't want a turing complete language configuring my servers. It's one reason I quite like the idea of nix, just not necessarily the implementation.

Mmm, I wonder if someone might do something using the language behind Bazel (Starlark) which is a python subset designed to do pure computation.

I've kinda got used to ansible for now, though I'd be semi-tempted by a system which used a pure language to define things like nix does.

+1 for 'barcode scanner' which is based on zxing - you just get to use the clipboard to copy stuff around between the scanner and whatever app you want to store info in.
Indeed, I love how when we supported BLM on the recent release, all I can find is people saying "Why don't we support this more widely, rather than only in a release announcement?"
