Isn't it kind of weird that a lot of people that are considered "cool" happen to also be considered "hot"?

It is. I prefer "interesting" and "nice to look at" as terms :-) For me 'cool' has overtones of "so not for me" ditto 'hot' :/

both "cool" and "hot" feel totally out of my league, I guess? Like, I don't see myself ever dating a "hot" guy cause the concept of "hot people" seems.. too good for me, I guess :D

That's kinda how I felt/feel too. Ditto "cute" is a term I find somewhat exclusionary. On the other hand, cuddly, interesting, and nice, I like :-)
